Hemp in Sweden used to be a much bigger industry as it was a subsidised crop and as such there were more farmers growing it.

Nowadays though there has been a resurgance in hemp in Sweden with building companies like house of hemp Sweden and ekolution who have done a lot with regards to getting hemp insulation into the Swedish market. As well as this there is a resurgence of eco farms across the country all promoting hemp products, primarily eu accepted low THC and high cbd plants.

Hemp is legal to grow though you have to apply through the farmers association and grow only approved seeds.
