The space
This is a eco-friendly net zero energy house made of hemp called the Nauhaus. It was designed as a model for urban sustainability and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The passive solar design and 16 inch thick hempcrete walls help the house stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It also features a living roof, brick floor and walls made from clay from the building site, solar panels, and multiple outdoor living spaces.
